Karim Mousa is the Middle East business development manager for future grids and renewables at Siemens, where he focuses on integrating photovoltaic, energy storage and electric mobility systems into the smarter cities of the future. Over the past decade, Karim has been involved in both the renewable and conventional energy industries in the MENA region.
His work with Siemens is centered on making renewable energy a reality for the region by developing partnerships with policymakers, stakeholders, developers and contractors. Karim earned his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Liverpool, and a master’s degree in engineering systems and management from the Masdar Institute for Science and Technology.
