Since 2007, Hanno Klausmeier resides as SAP Labs France’s Managing Director, overseeing more than 400 employees based in Sophia-Antipolis, Caen and Paris.
Subsequently to earning a degree from the University of Business Administration & Economics in Saarbrücken (Diplom-Kaufmann), Germany, and a master’s degree from the Ecole de Management, Lyon, France, H. Klausmeier proceeded to work for an International Chemical Corporation in Finance and Controlling.
Following H. Klausmeier’s recruitment to SAP in 1992, he assumed a key role in developing the Latin American market units from 1994 through 1999, co-establishing SAP Colombia, SAP Venezuela and SAP Mexico.
His extensive career with SAP count various Senior Leadership positions, including Global Head of Services Delivery in industries like public services, telco, travel and transportation. The consolidated experience merged into broad knowledge regarding the Public Sector industry.
SAP Labs France presented a new chapter for H. Klausmeier, where his interest in business was increasingly accompanied by a sense of responsibility toward the environment. Extensive practical research through the implementation of SAP Labs France’s sustainability policy including the electric car program, evolved him to a subject matter expert in electric vehicles and sustainability. His consistent efforts recently resulted in 79% of e-cars in the company car fleet of a total of 280 cars.
Furthermore, he was a speaker at several events related to electric cars (Energaïa, Enerplan, Enedis, Electric Cannet, CapEnergies, GIZ Rabat,
Assises des IRVE.. ) and several internal SAP related sustainability events, appearing regularly in national and specialized press with respect to E-mobility.
H. Klausmeier was recently named to the steering committee defending the new corporate car policy for SAP worldwide.
