Aadit Palicha is currently a 17-year old high school student from Dubai with a passion for transportation entrepreneurship.
Over two years ago, he founded GoPool: a mobile application that helps Dubai parents find and schedule carpools, making school commutes environmentally-friendly and traffic efficient
After overcoming daunting obstacles, he achieved the following:
Raised $15,000 through a sponsorship from Emirates NBD (the largest bank in the UAE) to develop GoPool
Launched September 2019 in 13 schools across UAE; acquired 1000+ users in 39 days
Featured on front-page of Gulf News (Middle East’s most-read English newspaper with 5M readers); interviewed on national radio stations (City 101.6, 102.8 FM etc.)
Invited to MIT for a 4-week accelerator/bootcamp for GoPool
Currently working with a major transportation company to redevelop GoPool professionally. Launching in a few months.
Besides entrepreneurship, Aadit is actively engaged in his academics and extracurriculars. He is the Valedictorian of his school (GEMS Modern Academy), member of the UAE National Debate Team, and President of an entrepreneurship club.
