One of the resounding key strengths of African culture is the ability to work together under the principles of Ubuntu – ‘I am because you are’. The same principle could be applied to the overall theme for this year’s Smarter Mobility Africa 2022.

2022 Smarter Mobility Africa will look at taking a deep-dive into achieving and maintaining strong collaboration in the transport sector. To be at the forefront of change and in alignment with the Global Sustainable Development Goals, Africa must work as a collective to transition to cleaner energy and reduce its carbon footprint.
