All attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination OR a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours. PCR testing will be available onsite.
We require either a vaccine certificate or valid PCR test at registration to allow entry into Smarter Mobility Africa fleet summit.
Antigen rapid testing (15 minutes turnaround time) will be available on site at CTICC at a cost of ZAR300, PCR testing at a cost of ZAR650 (18-24 hour turnaround time) or PCR express testing at a cost of ZAR1 800 (5-6 hours).
If your PCR test expires during the event, you will be required to do a new test to cover the duration of the event. Badges will be colour coded during the event to ensure this is monitored and tracked.
The following vaccines are recognised by the World Health Organisation and will be accepted as a valid vaccine:
AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine | COVAXIN | Covovax | Johnson and Johnson | Moderna | Nuvaxovid | Pfizer/BionTech | Sinopharm | Sinovac
You either have to be fully vaccinated*, or present a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours. Fully vaccinated here refers to an individual who has received all the recommended doses of their primary COVID-19 vaccine. The final dose should be administered at least 14 days before your arrival at the event.
A paper or electronic certificate which contains the following information:

To speed up your registration process at the event, please upload your vaccination certificate here.
Yes. Absence of proof of full vaccination will require a negative PCR test, obtained no more than 72 hours before registering at the event. Please note you may require multiple tests throughout the week to attend Smarter Mobility Africa fleet summit.
At present and in line with government regulations, the only test accepted is proof of a PCR test and the test certificate must be shown either electronically or in paper format. No more than 72 hours from the time taken, you may require multiple tests throughout the event.
In order to avoid having to be tested onsite, ensure that you have sent yourself an electronic copy of your proof of vaccination. Without proof of vaccination, you will need to take a PCR test to obtain entrance to the event.
You will need to show your vaccine certificate or PCR test result before entering the CTICC and proceeding to badge collection.
We are currently working with the CTICC and our security provider on the best way to manage multi-entry. We will confirm this shortly or when you collect your badge.
There will be a walk-in testing centre, operated by Callouts, located on the ground floor of CTICC2, open daily from Saturday 7 May until the end of the event. They will be able to provide onsite PCR testing and for any testing requirements you may have for your journey home. Cash (ZAR or USD) or credit card are accepted.
